Yours sincerely Tom Manwaring Manager Tactical Marketing Cathay Pacific   Getting to and from our SUPER HUB.   Ground Transport Centre (GTC) The GTC is only one minute away from the Terminal building. Public buses operate from 17 bus stop bays and tour coaches operate from 18 bays. Taxi ranks are positioned next to the GTC and with 24 loading points, queues will be kept to a minimum. For passengers travelling by private car, there are approximately 3,000 short and long term car parking spaces. The Airport Station (AEL) is also located here. By Rail Airport Express Line (AEL) The Mass Transit Railway Corporation (MTRC) will operate a deluxe service, from Hong Kong Station via Kowloon Station to the Airport Station next to the Terminal Building. The frequency for the 23 minute journey will be every eight minutes (and will eventually be every eight minutes ( and will eventually be every four- and- a-half minutes ). This service offers Business Class style seats, personal televisions and luggage racks, and will cost around HK$100 one way. Tung Chung Line (TCL) This is also a new line operated be the MTRC. It runs every eight minutes ( eventually will be every four-and-a-half minutes ) from Hong Kong Station in Central via Kowloon to Tung Chung and will take about 23 minutes. Shuttle buses will be waiting to take passengers on the fifteen minute drive to the Terminal building. The rail cost will be at around HK$24 and the shuttle bus will be about HK$4. By road Bus Routes Citybus or Long Win buses operate from Tai Kok Tsui, Kowloon City Ferry Pier, Tsuen Wan, Kwai Fong, Tuen Mun, Tin Shui Wai, and Tai Po, to Chek Lap Kok or Tung Chung and back. The estimated cost is between HK$10-18. Airbus Services These are deluxe services which operate after midnight between Causeway Bay, Mongkok, Star Ferry, Tsuen Wan and the GTC. The estimated cost is between HK$8-18. By Sea Ferry services between Tuen Mun and Chek Lap Kok will operate from 6am to 10pm every 20-30 minutes. The fare will be around HK$15 one way.
