Golf World Exhibitions
organize the largest golfing exhibition in the Asia Pacific region,
with a large international clientele. Being the first company
of its kind to expand into the booming Asian market, growth has
exceeded expectations. Now Mr. Allen has four sections to his
business, Golf World Exhibitions, property news, management and
public relations.
Golf World Exhibitions
staged the 1st International Hong Kong and China Golf
Exhibition and Conference in November 1995 in Hong Kong. Five
years down the track they are now preparing for the upcoming
China GOLF 2000, which should prove to be another successful
exhibition and accompanying conference to be held in Guangzhou,
China.
The Hong Kong
exhibition and conference received the endorsement of golf's
best-known names including greats like Jack Nicklaus, Arnold
Palmer, and Perth's own Graham Marsh. Eleven months on, Stephen
hosted the 2nd International Hong Kong and China Golf Exhibition
and Conference which ran from October 20 - 23 1996, in Shanghai
China, the first ever international golf exhibition to be held
in China. 320 golf related companies from 16 countries were
exhibiting their wares in 6,000 square metres of exhibition space
with crowds in the vicinity of 30,000. With the success of these
two shows, Golf World Exhibitions once again hosted the 3rd
International Hong Kong and China Golf Exhibition and Conference
in Shanghai China, CHINA GOLF '98 being held in Shenzhen China
6 - 8 October 1998 and last years, the 5th International China
& Hong Kong Golf Exhibition & Conference being held in
Guangzhou China between 5 - 7 September 1999. Following the
success of these five events, the "The 6th Golf World Asia
Merchandise Show " & "China Gilts 2000 International
Conference & Expo" has expanded, incorporating Golf,
Irrigation, Landscape, Turf, Sporting complexes and Merchandise.
Stephen's dream
is to build and consolidate the four arms of the Golf World Group.
Aside from Golf World Exhibitions, Golf World Property News issues
a subscription based newsletter focusing on golf course real
estate; Golf World Management represents international photographers
and photojournalists who specialise in golf; and Golf World Publicity
provides a public relations service to golf companies, designers,
architects and manufactures. Stephen Allen's vision and commitment
are crucial to accomplishing his dream, and with plans to have
an office in China, probably Hong Kong within the next three
years there is little time for playing golf.
